Huanzhu

Huanzhu is a captivating geometric project that showcases the innovative use of geometric shapes in constructing a garment. The dress is crafted from cut out rectangles that are smocked, creating an eye-catching, additive 3-D textured look that is both modern and unique.
"Huanzhu" translates to "bamboo," but derives from the term "Huan" meaning "dreamy." The project aims to depict a forest of dreams, with the forest represented by the bamboo-like smocking technique and the dreams portrayed through the creation of a dress.
In princess movies, most dreams start with a dress fitted to their bodies making them feel a boost of confidence and glow. Huanzhu is the manifestation of that dream.
